Soak produce

Submerge fruits and vegetables for 5-10 minutes.

Scrub if needed

For firm produce like apples, gently scrub with a brush.

Rinse

Rinse thoroughly with plain water and dry.

Note

This won't remove systemic pesticides (absorbed into the flesh), but it removes surface residue and wax coatings.
